Dear Nick,

Thank you once again for your generous donation of carrots, mashed potatoes and rolls for our 8th Grade Hunger Banquets. The students and parents in the upper income group certainly enjoyed their meals.

Dear Nick,

I would like to thank you for your wonderful donation of food for our eighth grade Hunger Banquet held this past Sunday and Monday. The meal was perfect , as usual, and the families who were fortunate enough to eat ended up having plenty to share with the poor.

During the evening our students and their parents learned, through active participation in the Banquet, about poverty and hunger throughout the world. The emcees talked with the students about the 800 million people around the world who suffer from chronic hunger, and the 31 million people right herre in America who don't have enough to eat every day.

Over the two evenings we collected five shopping carts full of food, which we delivered to the Somerset County Food Bank. We also collected several meals for SHIP and the Somerset Home for Displaced Children.

Thank you again for your continued generosity and for helping to make this evening possible. We appreciate all you do for our students and catechists here at St. Bernard's, and will continue to recommend you to everyone we know!
